GRAMMY® Award-winning songwriter and producer Tourist has shared his mesmerizing new single, “Embrace,” out now HERE via Queens Road Music / AndRECORDS / Atlantic Records. The track arrives alongside the official announcement of Tourist's forthcoming sixth studio album, Music Is Invisible, due everywhere Friday, December 5. Pre-orders and pre-saves are available now HERE.
“Trance lends itself to very ethereal vocals,” shares Tourist. “One of those voices is Birdy. She’s an amazing pop singer-songwriter with an angelic voice, and we’ve worked together before. I was listening to one of her songs, and it had the most beautiful sentiment. I thought, ‘This has to be a trance song.’ It felt so instinctive to me to do something that felt obnoxiously soaring and banging. The song is about embracing other humans listening to music. There’s no better feeling than that.”
“Embrace” offers a bold step into a new sonic space, marking Tourist’s most immersive and hypnotic work to date. Music Is Invisible features a guest appearance from acclaimed ambient composer Julianna Barwick, as well as the previously released track “Outside,” whose cinematic music video - directed by Duncan Loudon (Skepta, BADBADNOTGOOD) - is streaming now on YouTube HERE.
The next chapter of Tourist’s journey will unfold live with the just-announced UK/EU headline tour. The Invisible Tour 2026 begins in Glasgow on February 22, followed by major shows in Dublin, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, and more. General sale begins on October 10 at 10 am local time HERE. Fans can expect an immersive live experience echoing the atmospheric, expansive sound of Music Is Invisible. The upcoming run follows this summer’s performance at Lost Village in Lincolnshire, England - watch HERE.
Tourist, the moniker of UK songwriter and producer William Phillips, has dedicated the past decade to exploring the nuances of beats and melodies in electronic music. Raised in London, his early exposure to rave music and iconic artists like Daft Punk and The Chemical Brothers shaped his musical evolution. As Tourist, he boasts a diverse portfolio that includes critically acclaimed albums, distinctive remixes for Christine & The Queens, Hozier, Deftones, and The Weeknd, and a body of work as a songwriter that earned him a GRAMMY® Award for “Song of the Year” as co-writer on Sam Smith’s global hit, “Stay With Me.”
Tourist’s most recent LP, 2024’s Memory Morning, explored mood-based, instinctive sound design with influences from shoegaze and ambient house. The album’s emotionally textured palette earned critical praise for its innovation and intimacy. Now, with Music Is Invisible, Tourist embarks on an even more personal voyage toward transcendence, connection, and the hidden structures of sound.

British singer-songwriter Maisie Peters has released two new singles, "You You You" and "Audrey Hepburn," out now via Gingerbread Man Records/Atlantic Records. The tracks are her first new original music since the release of her 2023 album, The Good Witch.
The singles follow a landmark year for Peters, who became the youngest solo British female artist in nearly a decade to score a No. 1 album in the U.K. She also headlined Wembley Arena and served as an opening act on The Eras Tour. The new songs signal the next chapter for the artist and offer a first look at her upcoming third studio album.
Peters explained the connection between the two tonally different songs in a statement. "'Audrey Hepburn' is a song that for me defines this album, and my life in recent times," she said. "It's about how love gave me an inner peace, calm, strength and confidence... 'You You You' is about the darkest trench of my last heartbreak, a song I wrote very much in retrospect... Neither could have existed without the other, so I'm so glad everyone is getting to experience them at the same time."
To celebrate the new music, Peters has scheduled intimate comeback shows at EartH Hackney in London and the Music Hall of Williamsburg in New York for Oct. 15. According to the announcement, both performances sold out immediately.
"You You You" was written by Maisie Peters and Alysa Vanderheym and produced by Peters, Vanderheym, and Ian Fitchuk. "Audrey Hepburn" was written by Peters and Joe Rubel and produced by Peters, Rubel, and Fitchuk.
