ua Lipa took to Instagram to address the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict. In her story, she stated:

“With each passing day, my heart aches for the people of Israel and Palestine. Grief for the lives lost in the horrifying attacks in Israel. Grief as I witness the unprecedented suffering in Gaza, where 2.2 million souls, half of them children, endure unimaginable hardships. For now, I desperately hope for a ceasefire in Gaza and urge governments to halt the unfolding crisis. Our hope lies in finding the empathy to recognize this dire humanitarian situation. Sending love to Palestinian and Jewish communities worldwide, who bear this burden more heavily than most ❤️”

Dua Lipa expressed grief for the lives lost and the families affected on both sides of the conflict. She called for a ceasefire in Gaza and urged governments to intervene. She emphasized the humanitarian crisis by noting that half of Gaza's 2.2 million population are children. Additionally, she extended her message of empathy to Palestinian and Jewish communities worldwide.

Alongside her message, Dua Lipa shared a campaign by the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF). The campaign, titled “Urgent Relief for Gaza’s Children,” aims to raise $5 million and has collected $3.5 million so far.

Dua Lipa's parents, Anesa and Dukagjin Lipa, migrated from Kosovo to London in 1992 amid rising tensions that would later lead to the Kosovo War of 1998-1999. This personal history adds another layer to her advocacy for international involvement in conflict resolution.

Dua Lipa has also partnered with UNICEF in the past, visiting Lebanon in 2019 to engage with refugee children and discussing the challenges they face.

The Instagram story reflects Dua Lipa's concern for the Israel-Palestine conflict and her call for empathetic action, with hopes of a resolution.
