Shaya Zamora Releases Emotive New Single, ‘Chemicals’

Singer-songwriter Shaya Zamora has released “Chemicals,” a new single available now through Atlantic Records. The track was produced by Maxwell “Mxwell” Harlor and Scott Krueger.

“You know that song you hear in your dreams?” Zamora said in a statement. “The one where you fall in love so hard you never forget.”

“Chemicals” follows a series of releases that have built Zamora's audience since his debut in summer 2023. His January 2024 debut EP, Eulogize, has earned nearly 50 million total streams, with its track “Cigarette” surpassing 40 million streams. “Cigarette” was recently featured in the Netflix series Ginny & Georgia.

Earlier in 2024, Zamora released the viral single “Pretty Little Devil,” which has accumulated more than 70 million global streams. The song reached No. 2 on the iTunes Alternative Chart and charted on Apple Music and Shazam in the U.S. and globally. His official label debut single with Atlantic, “Sinner,” was featured on the Netflix show The Waterfront.

Raised in rural Washington, Zamora has also released the singles “Numb,” “Dark Sea,” and “Never Knew,” and collaborated with other artists on tracks including “Monster” with colby! and “Lament” with Tommee Profitt and Sam Tinnesz.
