Featuring a guest performance by Latino recording artist Davinci Valentin, the release celebrates one of the most influential recordings in electro-funk, freestyle, and early hip-hop history while introducing the song to a new generation of listeners.

Originally released in 1982, “Play at Your Own Risk” helped define the emerging electro movement and became a staple of dance floors, radio stations, and DJ sets around the world. Produced by Arthur Baker and co-produced by John Robie, the record played a significant role in shaping the sound of modern electronic music, hip-hop, freestyle, and dance culture.

More than four decades later, Planet Patrol revisits the classic with a fresh bilingual approach that combines the energy of the original recording with contemporary production and Latin influences.
