The Rift is excited to announce the release of "Just Fine," the second single from our upcoming album, *Metamorphosis*. Produced by the legendary Mike Post at MooseCat Studios, this track is a heartfelt ode to the transformative power of rock 'n' roll, capturing its ability to elevate and transport us through life's toughest moments.

"Just Fine" has become a humorous motto for us, reflecting our philosophy of resilience and defiance even when things aren't going our way. Drawing inspiration from Monty Python's iconic "flesh wound" scene, the song embodies a spirit of gallows humor and unwavering determination. As long as we can keep rocking, we believe you can overcome any challenge and achieve anything you set your mind to.

Musically, "Just Fine" is a straightforward rock 'n' roll anthem. It's not metal—just pure, unfiltered rock. Our writing process is all about the feel of the music; we don’t confine ourselves to any particular style. If it feels good and we enjoy playing it, that's all that matters. This track is a testament to that approach, delivering a raw and authentic rock experience.

With an array of musical influences spanning Flamenco, Thrash Metal, Progressive Rock, Classic Rock, Grunge, Blues, and Reggae, The Rift forged by brothers and long time friends have made band chemistry that is rare and exceptional in todays fickle genre of Rock.  Audiences are often shocked to see so much noise comes from only two to three players.  With so many different influences the band has learned to blend these genres into their own unique style.

The release of Rock Narcotic in 2018 landed the band on Vans Warped Tour and Next 2 Rock with 95.5 KLOS FM the band has since been busy on a nonstop roller coaster of shows, sharing the stage with artists like Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, We The Kings, Silverstein, Less Than Jake, Chelsea Grin, Beartooth, Simple Plan, Living Colour, Young the Giant, The Misfits, Exodus, and Tantric to mention a few. Radio has also taken a liking to these LA boys with steady play on Radio stations like 95.5 KLOS, 106.5 KROQ, KXLU, KUCI,KZSC, Somer Valley FM UK, WWSK New York, WSFS, KACV,KLAX, Rock attack France, Rock Rage Radio, Unrestrictedradio, KMCJ, Crim Radio, Radio Buzz 101, Radio ZodiacIreland, Charlie Mason Radio, Idobi Radio.

The new single Lost Angeles not only pay tribute to the bands idols and influencers through the years but is also a culmination of the past few years of non stop growth. To really understand you have to turn it on, turn it up and see/hear why for yourself.
