International soprano Monika Spruch is expanding her signature concept, Catwalk Opera, a contemporary performance format that combines classical vocals with electronic music, fashion, and cross-genre collaboration.

Created in response to changing audience expectations, Catwalk Opera presents operatic voice within modern, visually driven environments. The concept bridges traditional opera with contemporary music culture, creating a distinct space between classical performance and modern entertainment.

Spruch has performed internationally across Europe and the United States, including appearances during Fashion Weeks in London, Milan, and Sanremo, as well as performances in Tokyo, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Cannes. Her work has received international recognition, including the International Celebrity Award in Cannes, France, in the Opera Singer category in 2024, the International Soprano Singer Award from the Amerika Prestige Awards in 2024, and the International Soprano Singer & Model honor in 2025.

“Catwalk Opera is about redefining how operatic voice is experienced,” said Spruch. “By integrating opera with electronic music, cinematic soundscapes, and even street-influenced elements, the concept creates a bridge between tradition and the musical language of younger generations.”

As part of this next phase, Spruch is actively seeking collaborations with DJs, music producers, composers, and creators across genres to develop original works, live performance formats, and music for fashion, film, and global stages.

Catwalk Opera is designed to introduce opera to new audiences by integrating contemporary music styles with accessible, visually engaging performance formats. As live entertainment continues to evolve, the project positions Spruch at the intersection of opera, electronic music, fashion, and contemporary culture.
