Australian genre-bending rapper Emerald Sun releases “Massive Attack,” a new electro party anthem featuring Brisbane melodic rapper Lou Vicious, available now on all major streaming platforms.

Equal parts club-ready and tongue-in-cheek, “Massive Attack” pairs Emerald Sun’s high-voltage energy with Lou Vicious’ melodic punchlines and playful wordplay. Built for party playlists and dance floors, the track lands in a sweet spot between electronic bounce and modern rap—think Tinie Tempah and Flo Rida meeting Australian soul, with an unapologetic local edge.
Emerald Sun first wrote “Massive Attack” after a big night out in Darwin, NT, but held it back until the right finishing touch arrived. That moment came when Lou Vicious jumped on the record, adding the feature that pushed it over the line—followed by a final round of professional mixing and mastering to get it release-ready.
“When I heard Lou’s verse, I knew he’d taken it to another level,” says Emerald Sun. “The song was already banging, but he gave it the finish it deserved.”

About Emerald Sun:
Growing up in Darwin, Australia, Emerald Sun brings a vintage-yet-fresh sound to the Australian rap scene, evolving from street boom-bap cuts like “Return Of The King Hit” and “Good Christians” into good-vibes fan favorites including “Feeling Good” and “Callin’ Out.” Late last year, Emerald Sun teamed up with U.S. artist Taj Austin (Coast Contra) on the sub-heavy, catchy single “3:33,” continuing a run of releases that balance lyrical grit with party-starting momentum.
About Lou Vicious:
Lou Vicious BioHaving major punk-rock influences and combining them with modern production to craft his unique sound, Lou Vicious released his first “hip-hop” track in late 2016 and continues to bring something new to the table with every release. Raised in many places—mainly on the Sunshine Coast, QLD, Australia—Vicious became interested in making music at a young age, and it was obvious he had a passion for playing drums, guitar, and numerous music-related areas. Rap or hip-hop was not of interest through the early years of his high school experience until he found himself listening to tracks from people like Earl Sweatshirt and Young Thug. Even then, making music in that genre didn’t begin until he came across the sounds of Lil Uzi Vert and people of that new wave. At this point, Louie had a hatred towards school, leading to being kicked out, moving north of Brisbane, and then deciding this style of music was the direction he wanted to go in.
