Florida-based country artist Chas Collins is back with a bold, groove-driven new single, “She Gave Me That Look,” released through 2911 Label Group / TLG / Virgin Music. The track is accompanied by two exclusive media premieres: Center Stage Magazine debuted the lyric video, and The Hollywood Times unveiled the official audio.
“She Gave Me That Look” captures that all-too-familiar lightning-strike moment when everything stops—the room, the noise, even time itself—and all you see is her. Built around a swampy Southern rock guitar riff and a chorus that goes straight for the gut, the song mixes gritty energy with smoldering tension.
“This song’s about that one glance that changes everything. No words, no warning—just a look that cuts through the noise,” says Collins. “Every guy's been there at least once, and when it hits, it hits. I wanted this track to feel like that exact second.”
Written and recorded in Nashville with Collins at the helm, the single blends his signature blend of country soul and ’80s rock edge—backed by raw, emotional vocals that refuse to phone it in. The production is tight, the message is universal, and the sound is pure Chas.
With over 3,000 live shows played across 43 states, Chas Collins is no stranger to the stage—or the hustle. Known for powerhouse vocals and an unmistakable presence (he’s 6’6” and commands every inch of the stage), he’s built a career from the ground up, earning fans one show at a time. Raised in Louisiana, he moved to Nashville after Hurricane Katrina wiped out everything he owned. After losing his mother, grandmother, and aunt in the span of four years, Collins channeled grief into grit—crafting songs rooted in resilience, love, and real life.
Now based in Tampa Bay, he continues to record in Music City while playing for audiences nationwide.
“She Gave Me That Look” follows a string of recent releases and sets the tone for what’s next—a season of new music that leans even harder into Collins’ fusion of heartland country and Southern rock heat.

Chas Collins is a Southern-born singer-songwriter known for his smooth yet powerful voice, heartfelt storytelling, and no-nonsense approach to country and rock music. A Louisiana native with deep roots in both the church and playing in honky tonks, Collins first broke onto the national scene with That’s What She Said in 2015. His single “Try It On” landed in the Top 10 on CMT’s 12 Pack Countdown, launching a more extensive touring run across 43 U.S. states and cementing his reputation as a powerful live performer with a unique sound.
Just as his career began to take off, the COVID-19 pandemic brought the music world to a halt. But rather than disappearing, Collins went inward. He spent the downtime writing some of the most personal material of his life—songs born of struggle, faith, healing, and rebirth. What emerged was a refreshed and refined sound: emotionally charged, rock-leaning country music that cuts through the noise with authenticity and conviction.
Today, Chas Collins is more focused than ever, releasing new music that reflects where he’s been—and where he’s headed. Whether he’s channeling southern grit or gospel roots, his songs speak to anyone who’s fought their way through the dark and come out swinging. This isn’t just music—it’s a testimony. Chas is waiting for you, so come visit chascollins.com.
It takes a myriad of professionals to turn this wheel we call the music business: radio air personalities, tour managers, record label insiders, specialists in television programming, directors of live events and publicists who provide artists with the exposure needed to keep the wheel in motion. Knowledge is power, and executive/entrepreneur Jeremy Westby is the power behind 2911 Enterprises. Westby is the rare individual whose twenty-five years of experience in the music industry champions each of those arenas—on a multi genre level in all realms. After all, how many people can say they’ve worked side by side with Megadeth, Meat Loaf, Michael W. Smith and Dolly Parton? Westby can.
