Stray Kids, a South Korean boy band formed by JYP Entertainment, has been a dynamic force in the K-pop industry since their emergence in 2017. Their journey from a reality show to global stardom is a testament to their talent, hard work, and innovative approach to music.

The group was initially introduced through the reality show "Stray Kids," which aired from October to December 2017. The original lineup consisted of Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N, with Woojin being a former member who left in 2019. They officially debuted on March 25, 2018, with the extended play (EP) "I Am Not," marking the beginning of their 'I Am' series.

In 2019, Stray Kids released their first full album, "Clé 1: Miroh," which won them the "Best New Artist" award at the Mnet Asian Music Awards. The same year, they embarked on their first world tour, "Unveil Tour 'I am...'," showcasing their rapidly growing international fanbase. The group continued to evolve musically, experimenting with various genres and self-producing most of their work, a rarity in the K-pop industry.

The years 2021 and 2022 were pivotal for Stray Kids, marked by significant achievements and global recognition. They released several successful albums, including "Noeasy" and "Oddinary," which topped various charts and solidified their position in the music industry. Their unique sound, characterized by a blend of aggressive rap, electronic music, and meaningful lyrics, resonated with a wide audience. The group's participation in the reality show "Kingdom: Legendary War" further boosted their popularity.

In 2023, Stray Kids continued to thrive in the music industry with the release of their eighth mini album, "Rock-Star," on November 10. The album features a diverse range of genres, including dance, electronica, phonk, afrobeats, drum & bass, rock, metal, and ballad. The title track "Lalalala" and other songs like "Megaverse" and "Blind Spot" showcase their growth and versatility as artists. The album's commercial success was evident, debuting at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and achieving music show wins.

Stray Kids has been recognized for their impactful music and meaningful messages, often addressing themes of self-identity, mental health, and youth struggles. Their self-producing capabilities, coupled with their dynamic performances, have set them apart in the K-pop industry. The group has garnered a dedicated fanbase, known as STAY, and has received numerous awards and accolades for their artistic contributions.

As they continue to evolve and make their mark in the music world, Stray Kids remains a significant force in the K-pop industry, inspiring fans worldwide with their music and message.
