Canadian singer-songwriter Tate Mcrae's single "Revolving Door" has been certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), the organization announced on October 6, 2025. The certification recognizes sales and streaming figures equivalent to 1,000,000 units in the United States. The pop track was released by RCA Records on February 21, 2025.
"Revolving Door" is featured on McRae's third studio album, So Close To What. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, further cementing McRae's status as a pop superstar. Both "Revolving Door" and fellow album track "It's ok I'm ok" reached No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Dance/Pop Songs chart. According to Genius, the song's lyrics describe the cycle of continuously returning to a past relationship.
