Alt-pop artist Noga Erez has released her new single, “PENNY LAME,” via Neon Gold/Atlantic Records. The track was written and produced by Erez alongside Ori Rousso and Justin Parker. It is the second single from her current project, following the release of “WATCH THE NEWS.”

“‘PENNY LAME’ is a song about navigating love as a grown woman in a long-term relationship,” Erez said in a statement. “It explores searching for affection and affirmation from a partner, especially when the weight of world events, daily struggles, and inner battles make it feel almost impossible to stay hopeful and alive.” An official video for the single has also been released.

The new music arrives ahead of a 2025 North American headline tour, which kicks off September 23 in Brooklyn, NY. The tour is scheduled to run through early November, and many dates have already sold out, including stops in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, and Chicago.

Erez released her third studio album, THE VANDALIST, with longtime partner and producer Ori Rousso. Her career includes the breakout album Off The Radar, its follow-up KIDS, and a 2022 collaboration with Missy Elliott on the single “Nails.” She has performed at festivals such as Bonnaroo, Primavera Sound, and Lollapalooza, appeared as a special guest for Florence and the Machine at Madison Square Garden, and made broadcast appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Kelly Clarkson Show.
