Bryson Tiller's 2022 single "Outside" has received its first Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The certification, dated October 2, 2025, recognizes 500,000 certified units in the United States. The R&B/Hip-Hop track was released by RCA Records.
Released on September 8, 2022, "Outside" features a production style described as creating a "euphoric and gloomy atmosphere" with a palpitating bass and finger snaps. Thematically, the song finds Tiller expressing his desire for a woman who has recently become single after leaving a difficult relationship, offering to treat her well.

A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Bryson Tiller first gained mainstream recognition with his 2015 breakout single "Don't," which peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has since been certified septuple Platinum. The track was the lead single for his debut studio album, Trapsoul (2015), a top-ten Billboard 200 entry that popularized the "trap soul" subgenre and earned a triple Platinum certification. Tiller's subsequent albums have continued his commercial success, with 2017's True to Self debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and 2020's Anniversary peaking at No. 5. He has also been featured on major hits, including DJ Khaled's "Wild Thoughts" alongside Rihanna. His self-titled fourth album, Bryson Tiller, was released in 2024 and included the Top 20 single "Whatever She Wants."
