Talking to Myself is an introspective and emotional journey, with each track revealing different facets of Zerrin’s creative world: ‘Maintenance Phase’ is a reflection on self-criticism and motivation, touching on moments of personal stagnation and the slow process of moving forward, while ‘Spring Cleaning’ is an ode to change and memory, blending indie folk and chamber pop to explore the rituals we turn to when processing grief and new beginnings.

‘Cloud Baby’ takes a more experimental approach, using layered vocals and fragmented sounds to evoke abstract longing and desire, while closer ‘It’s Happening Again’ explores the cyclical nature of managing chronic fatigue, highlighting the experience of revisiting old struggles after believing they had been overcome.

“It's a very internal EP, very reflective. It's a lot about figuring out things about myself and processing different ideas or difficult feelings, trying to understand myself.

“I see the title as being this little conversation with myself, because I do, quite literally talk to myself a lot, which I understand not everyone does, but I do, and I feel like these songs are this dialogue that I'm having with myself.
