È finalmente giunta la fine dell'attesa: è arrivata la sera più grande della musica! Questo domenica ha visto la riunione dell'élite musicale per i 66° Grammy Awards.

Questa edizione della competizione è particolarmente intensa, con SZA in testa con nove nomination. Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, e Victoria Monét sono anche in corsa per i riconoscimenti più alti della serata. Molti di questi artisti sono candidati nella categoria Album dell'anno, con SZA (SOS), Taylor Swift (Midnights), Olivia Rodrigo (Guts), Miley Cyrus (Endless Summer Vacation), boygenius (The Record), e Jon Batiste (World Music Radio). Aggiungendo a questa lista ci sono Janelle Monáe (The Age of Pleasure) e Lana Del Rey (Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd).

Phoebe Bridgers è emersa come una candidata top quest'anno, ottenendo sei nomination insieme ai suoi boygenius colleghi, e un ulteriore riconoscimento per la Miglior prestazione pop di duo/gruppo per il suo lavoro con SZA su “Ghost in the Machine.” La colonna sonora del film Barbie ha ottenuto diverse nomination, tra cui Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?”, Dua Lipa’s “Dance the Night,” Nicki Minaj e Ice Spice’s “Barbie World,” che campiona Aqua, e Ryan Gosling’s “I’m Just Ken.”
