Lana Del Rey has revealed that she wrote a James Bond theme song in 2015, but it was ultimately rejected by producers. The song, titled "24" and featured on her album Honeymoon, was intended for the film Spectre, which marked Daniel Craig's fourth outing as 007.
Speaking backstage at the Ivor Novello Awards in London, where she received a special prize for her career and influence, Del Rey was asked if she would ever consider writing a Bond theme. “I mean, how has that not happened?” she replied before breaking into the chorus of "24" and revealing, “I wrote that for them.”
