The Canadian rock band Three Days Grace has achieved a new milestone, as their 2014 single "Painkiller" was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on 18. novembra 2025. The certification recognizes sales and streaming equivalents of 1,000,000 units in the United States. The track was released by RCA Records.

Released on 1. apríla 2014, "Painkiller" holds a significant place in the band's history. It was the first single released following the departure of original lead singer Adam Gontier on 9. januára 2013. The song officially introduced fans to new vocalist Matt Walst, the brother of bassist Brad Walst, who was confirmed as Gontier's permanent replacement on 28. marca 2014. Serving as the lead single for their fifth studio album, Human (2015), "Painkiller" was noted for its aggressive sound and marked a new chapter for the group.
