Atlantic Records today announces the signing of UK-based rock band South Arcade, in partnership with BKM Artists and LAB Records. To herald the news, the band has released their label debut single, FEAR OF HEIGHTS, available on all streaming platforms now. Listen HERE.

South Arcade frontperson Harmony Cavelle shared, “When meeting with Johnny [Minardi, Atlantic Music Group SVP of A&R], Elliot [Grainge, Atlantic Music Group CEO], Zach [Friedman, Atlantic Music Group COO], Tony [Talamo, Atlantic Music Group GM], and the Atlantic team, it was like, FINALLY someone gets it! It was really like clicking with someone on the same wavelength. They actually understood what we were trying to convey and felt like we were all on the same page. Atlantic has such a legacy - we are so excited to be a part of that and see what we can all come up with as a joint force. We honestly couldn’t be more stoked.”

Atlantic Music Group Senior Vice President of A&R Johnny Minardi said, “From the very first chorus I heard from South Arcade, I was completely hooked! As I dug deeper into their songs and world, it felt like stepping into a modern take on a nostalgic era. I’m incredibly excited for what’s ahead as South Arcade teams up with Atlantic to take on the world.”

FEAR OF HEIGHTS is an electrifying track about breaking out of comfort zones and embracing opportunities. With their signature Y2K guitar-driven sound, vocalist Harmony’s unmistakable vocals and its singalong anthemic chorus at the forefront, this is sure to be a fan-favorite.

Speaking on the new song, the band said, “FEAR OF HEIGHTS is about that moment when comfort turns into a cage. When life gets monotonous, it can be easy to stay in your lane and carry on as things are but this song is the opposite. It’s telling you to take the risk and go for it. We’ve all found ourselves in situations where we’d woken up and thought “I need to get out of here” and that’s what this song represents - no risk, no reward.”

The four-piece are set to have an unbelievable year, packed out with unmissable headline live shows and global festival dates. After two sold-out headline shows in Manchester and London in March, they headed out on the road on support tours including singer-songwriter and musician Bilmuri across Europe and Australia as well as doing 25 dates across the US with American pop-punk band Magnolia Park. This summer they played to huge crowds at Slam Dunk and 1 sa loob ng isang weekend and, following a riotous headline of the BBC Introducing stage in 2024, they were invited back onto the main stage at Reading & Leeds this August, sharing the stage with the likes of Limp Bizkit and Bring Me The Horizon. Having recently played at festivals across Europe including Jera On Air and High 5ive Festival, this year will also see South Arcade play their first US headline tour including sold-out shows in New York City and Los Angeles. They will also perform at Austin City Limits Music Festival in October. The remaining tickets are available HERE.

A force to be reckoned with, South Arcade have found a huge following across their social media with over 11 million likes on TikTok and a rapidly growing YouTube following after gaining popularity with videos of their rehearsals and live stage antics. With continuous support at Radio 1, the band were named Future Artist Of The Month earlier this year and had previous single Supermodels added to the playlist. Their 2024 EP, 2005, now has over 35 million streams on Spotify alone. Self-produced by the band, the 2005 EP also includes tracks stone cold summer, MOTH KIDS and HOW 2 GET AWAY WITH MURDER.
