On November 13, 2025, exactly ten years after its initial release, Alessia Cara's debut studio album, Know-It-All, was certified 2x Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The certification from Def Jam Recordings signifies 2,000,000 units sold and streamed in the United States.

Alessia Cara, a Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter from Canada, first gained international attention in 2015 with her breakout single "यहाँ." The track served as the lead single for Know-It-All, which followed her introductory EP, Four Pink Walls. Cara's introspective and relatable pop and R&B sound quickly established her as a significant new voice, leading her to become one of the most-streamed new female artists of 2017 with over 8.5 billion global streams to her name.

Released in the fourth quarter of 2015, Know-It-All solidified Cara's place in the pop landscape. The album produced several successful singles, including the global anthem "यहाँ" and the multi-platinum No. 1 hit "Scars to Your Beautiful," a powerful song about body image and identity. Another popular track from the album is "Wild Things." The success of Know-It-All laid the groundwork for a career that has included six global smash hits, such as her collaboration with Zedd on "Stay" and with Logic on "1-800-273-8255," as well as her performance of the Lin-Manuel Miranda-penned song "How Far I'll Go" for the Disney film Moana.
