Early life and origins

Five Finger Death Punch, also known as 5FDP, is an American heavy metal band that formed in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2005. The group's original lineup featured vocalist Ivan Moody, rhythm guitarist Zoltan Bathory, lead guitarist Caleb Andrew Bingham, bassist Matt Snell, and drummer Jeremy Spencer. The band released its debut album, The Way of the Fist, in 2007. The album found rapid success, eventually selling more than 500,000 copies in the U.S.
