Luke Combs Earns RIAA 8x Platinum for "This One's For You"

Luke Combs's breakthrough debut album, This One's For You, has officially been certified 8x Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The certification, dated October 6, 2025, recognizes 8,000,000 equivalent album units sold and streamed in the United States. Released on June 1, 2017, via Columbia Nashville and River House Artists, the album was a pivotal release that established Combs as a major force in contemporary country music.

A native of North Carolina, Luke Albert Combs began performing as a child and later attended Appalachian State University before leaving to pursue a music career. He moved to Nashville in 2014, independently releasing his debut EP, The Way She Rides, that same year. Combs quickly gained a following for his blend of classic country and Southern-fried soul, a sound that distinguished him from his peers and set the stage for his mainstream success. His work has since earned him numerous accolades, including multiple Country Music Association Awards for Entertainer of the Year.
