It was officially issued to streaming services on February 13, 2024, and was later included on Tiller's self-titled fourth studio album, which peaked at number 12 on the Billboard 200.

A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Bryson Tiller first achieved mainstream recognition with his 2015 breakout single "Don't." The track peaked at number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was eventually certified septuple platinum. Its success led to a deal with RCA Records and the release of his debut album, Trapsoul, which reached the top ten of the Billboard 200 and helped popularize the "trap soul" subgenre. The album, now certified 3x Platinum, included the Grammy-nominated single "Exchange." Tiller's subsequent albums, True to Self (2017) and Anniversary (2020), debuted at number one and number five, respectively. He was also featured alongside Rihanna on DJ Khaled's number-two hit "Wild Thoughts."
