Bryson Tiller's single "Run Me Dry" has been certified 2x Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), the organization announced on October 2, 2025. The certification from RCA Records signifies 2,000,000 certified units in the United States. The track continues its steady commercial performance, building on its previous milestones. Previously certified: Platinum (November 23, 2021); Gold (February 8, 2018).

Released on July 25, 2017, "Run Me Dry" served as the second single from Tiller's sophomore studio album, True to Self. The song was co-written by Tiller alongside its producers, Boi-1da and Allen Ritter. Thematically, the track explores a complex relationship in which the narrator feels he is being taken advantage of financially and emotionally. A music video for the song, directed by Hamish Stephenson, was released on September 12, 2017, further promoting the single.

A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Bryson Tiller rose to prominence with his unique blend of R&B and hip-hop a style often referred to as "trap soul." He first gained mainstream recognition with his 2015 breakout single "Don't," which peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 and led to his debut album, Trapsoul. The album that features "Run Me Dry,"True to Self, continued his success by debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 upon its release in May 2017. That same year, Tiller was also featured alongside Rihanna on DJ Khaled's hit single "Wild Thoughts," which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
