The collaborative single "X (Feat. Future)" by 21 Savage and Metro Boomin has achieved a new milestone, officially earning a 5x Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The certification, dated November 4, 2025, signifies 5,000,000 certified units sold in the United States. The track was released via Slaughter Gang, Llc.

Released on July 15, 2016, "X" was a standout track from Savage Mode, the critically acclaimed collaborative EP by 21 Savage and producer Metro Boomin. The song features a guest verse from fellow Atlanta trap icon Future, adding to its star power. The project itself was a commercial success, climbing into the Top 25 of the Billboard 200 and peaking at number seven on the Rap Albums chart, solidifying both artists' positions in the mainstream. "X" remains one of the most popular tracks from the project, with over 634 million streams on Spotify alone.
