The track features LA vocalist Rachel Gonzalez, whose soaring soulful harmonies bring a celebratory lift to the song’s chorus. Notably, the piano was recorded by Chung’s father, a former gospel choir co-leader in Long Beach, California, grounding the track in both personal memory and musical legacy.

“This is the most groove-centred track I’ve ever made,” says Chung. “It’s inspired by the gospel music I grew up hearing my dad play, but with my indie voice and some R&B and disco sensibilities folded in. It’s a song about remembering the good, especially in difficult situations and trusting that love and community are still there, even when things feel heavy.”
