Canadian singer Tate Mcrae's single "Sports Car" was certified platīna by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on 2025. gada 6. oktobris. Upon its release, the single achieved significant international success, peaking at number nine on the Canadian Hot 100 and reaching the top ten in charts across Australia, Bulgaria, Colombia, Guatemala, Ireland, Kazakhstan, New Zealand, Romania, Russia, and the United Kingdom.

The certification marks another milestone for the Calgary-born artist, who has garnered over 15.1 billion career streams. McRae's sophomore album, THINK LATER (2023), was certified platīna and featured the 4x platīna single "greedy," which topped global charts. Her third album, So Close to What, continued this trajectory, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. McRae's accolades include being named Artist of the Year at both the 2024 and 2025 JUNO Awards, along with nominations for multiple Billboard Music Awards and MTV VMAs.
