Cole)" has received its first certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), officially earning zelta status on 2025. gada 16. oktobris. The certification recognizes 500,000 equivalent units in the United States. Released by Capitol Music Group on 2019. gada 21. februāris, the track is a key song from Offset's debitē solo studio album, FATHER OF 4.

On "How Did I Get Here,"Offset reflects on his rise to success and fame from a past that involved a life of crime. The song's lyrics convey a sense of gratitude for overcoming his adolescent mindset to build a significant career. He is joined by featured artist J. Cole, who reinforces these themes in his verse while also commenting on mortality rates in the southern United States. The song appeared on FATHER OF 4, which was released a day later and debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 chart. The album also produced the Grammy-nominated single "Clout."

Born Kiari Kendrell Cephus in Lawrenceville, Georgia, Offset is best known as a member of the influential trap trio Migos, which he formed in 2010 with his cousin Quavo and the late Takeoff. The group achieved mainstream success with their 2013 hit "Versace" and went on to release chart-topping albums such as Culture and Culture II. As a solo artist, Offset has also achieved significant commercial success. His collaborative album with 21 Savage and Metro Boomin, Without Warning (2017), reached the Top Five on the Billboard 200. Following his solo debitē, he released his second studio album, Set It Off, in 2023, which also peaked in the Top Five.
