The collaboration between country artists Jameson Rodgers and Luke Combs, "Cold Beer Calling My Name," has officially been certified 2x platīna by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The certification, dated 2025. gada 6. oktobris, recognizes 2,000,000 units sold in the United States. The single was released by Columbia Nashville and River House Artists.
Released on 2020. gada 14. aprīlis, "Cold Beer Calling My Name" later served as the second single from Rodgers' debitē studio album, Bet You're from a Small Town. The song was co-written by Rodgers with Alysa Vanderheym, Brett Tyler, and Hunter Phelps, and produced by Chris Farren and Jake Mitchell. The partnership with Combs developed organically after Rodgers served as an opening act on Combs's 2019 "Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour." Rodgers said in a statement, "It's a fun, easy song, and I thought it'd be cool to have someone on it and at the time I was out with Combs, I asked Luke if he'd like to sing on it - I know he's a cold beer drinker like myself - and luckily it worked out." The accompanying music video, released in February 2021, features the duo as beer delivery drivers.

Jameson Rodgers, a native of Batesville, Mississippi, moved to Nashville in 2010 to pursue his music career. After winning The ASCAP Foundation Leon Brettler Award in 2014, he signed a publishing deal with Combustion Music. As a songwriter, Rodgers has penned platīna-selling hits for other major country artists, including Florida Georgia Line's "Talk You Out of It" and Chris Lane's No. 1 single "I Don't Know About You." His own debitē single, "Some Girls," successfully charted on the Country Airplay chart, establishing his career as a recording artist under the Columbia Nashville / River House Artists labels.
