Carrie Underwood's hit single "Cowboy Casanova" has been certified 4x platīna by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The certification, dated 2025. gada 30. oktobris, recognizes 4,000,000 certified units in the United States. The digital single was released by 19 Recordings Limited / Arista Nashville as a lead track from her third studio album.

Released on 2009. gada 22. septembris, "Cowboy Casanova" served as the lead single for the album Play On. The song was co-written by Underwood with Mike Elizondo and Brett James. Its creation began with a melody from Elizondo, with James suggesting the title and Underwood collaborating on the lyrics. Upon its release, the track garnered positive reviews and became the fastest-climbing country single of 2009. It went on to become Underwood's eighth number-one single on the U.S. country charts and has sold over 2.3 million copies.
