Megan Moroney Earns RIAA 2x Platinum for "I"m Not Pretty"

Megan Moroney's single "I'm Not Pretty" has achieved a new milestone, earning a 2x Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The certification, dated October 14, 2025, recognizes 2,000,000 certified units in the United States. The track was released by Sony Music Nashville as part of the campaign for her debut album.

Released on February 9, 2023, "I'm Not Pretty" served as the second single from Moroney's debut studio album, Lucky. The song was co-written by Moroney with Ben Williams, MacKenzie Carpenter, and Micah Carpenter. According to the singer, the track was inspired by a real-life incident involving an ex-boyfriend's new partner liking one of her old social media photos. Moroney has described the song as a lighthearted "anthem for the girls" that is "not meant to be taken too seriously."
