A musical reimagining of one of the oldest hero’s journeys of all time, EPIC is a genre-defying, sung-through adaptation of The Odyssey, blending pop, world music, orchestral scoring, and increasingly electronic elements as the narrative grows more mythological. Inspired by anime, video games, and animation, the project is divided into nine sagas across two acts (five in Act I, four in Act II), featuring 40 original songs. Rivera-Herrans first started writing EPIC in 2019 and began documenting the creative process on social media in 2021.
