On the inspiration behind the video, the duo shares, “We’re very inspired by the aesthetics of the late 2000s to the early 2010s, and we wanted to incorporate things that we loved growing up with in real life, as well as animated portions reminiscent of Lizzy McGuire, and MyScene. We just came up with a list of things that we felt fit the vibes, and our team struck absolute gold. We hope that the sticker-covered furniture, beat-up board games, floral wallpaper, and dolls who have seen better days transport you back to your childhood with us.”
Pebbles&TamTam previously set the stage for Sleepover! the mixtape :P, with the single “Pinky Swear?” Co-produced by the duo themselves, alongside Boston & Pat (Tinashe, Artemas) and VITALS, “Pinky Swear?” notably marked a slight sonic departure from “Case Closed,” a high-energy blend of underground pop, hip-hop, and club-ready dance music, that is accompanied by a gritty house party visual streaming now on YouTube YA. In contrast, “Pinky Swear?” leaned into a more bubblegum, ethereal sound—dreamlike and affectionate—further expanding the engaging landscape of the project.
Pebbles&TamTam have quickly amassed millions of worldwide streams and a fervent fan following by serving up a sonic candy bowl of pop, hip-hop, hyperpop, and nightcore tailor-made for the best evening of your life. Serendipitously introduced by a Berklee professor, the two like-minded young artists hit it off like a pair of long-long sisters and quickly began making music together. Turning a bedroom into a makeshift studio, Pebbles&TamTam made their debut with 2024’s “PINK LIKE SUKI,” which proved an immediate online sensation, reeling in over 25K creates on TikTok and more than 14M Spotify streams. The duo kept up the pace with a string of further fan favorites, including “CARDIAC,” “RINSE&REPEAT,” and “DECLINED.”

Raised on opposite sides of the country, TamTam grew up in Waldorf, MD. At 16 years old, she learned how to make beats, gaining proficiency at Band Lab, Garage Band, and Audacity. At the same time, she honed her voice by way of choir, theater, and band. After settling in Boston, her freshman year at Berklee College of Music commenced in 2021. On the West Coast, Pebbles hailed from Ojai, CA. As a kid, she performed in community theater and took voice lessons. Similarly, Pebbles had taught herself Ableton and made solo music. She achieved the “Lollapalooza Scholarship” to Berklee and enrolled in the college. A professor serendipitously introduced them, and they cemented a friendship akin to long-lost sisters.
Turning a bedroom into a makeshift studio, they popped off in 2024 with “PINK LIKE SUKI,” surging on TikTok with 25K “creates” and reeling in over 12.3 million Spotify streams.
