The single, released on the Back Lot Music label, was officially certified on October 23, 2025, signifying 1,000,000 certified units sold in the United States. The track is categorized under the Soundtrack genre.

"Peaches" was released on April 6, 2023, as a single from the soundtrack for the Illumination and Nintendo film The Super Mario Bros. Movie. In the animated movie, Black voices the villain Bowser, who performs the song as a power ballad expressing his unrequited love for Princess Peach and his plan to force her into marriage. The song appears in two segments of the film and is featured on The Super Mario Bros. Movie (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack).
