Pop Dinamo Ava Max dropped “Lovin Myself,” her most candid single in years, accompanied by a vibrant music video that celebrates self-empowerment in full technicolor. Written by Max alongside hitmaker Pink Slip (Kyle Buckley), Lilian Caputo and Scott Harris Friedman, and produced by Pink Slip, the track is a breezy electropop declaration of independence.

"This song came from a moment when I finally realized I didn't need anyone else's validation to feel whole,” Ava told PopFiltr. “ I've been through a lof of phases in my career, highs, lows, public scrutiny, private growth, and through all of that, I started to understand that the most important releationship I'll ever have is the one I have with myself. The lyrics really sum up where I'm at emotionally and creatively right now."
