Lenier & Gente De Zona Erhält RIAA Latin Gold für "La Diferente"

The collaborative single "La Diferente" by Cuban artists Lenier and Gente De Zona has been certified Latin Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The certification, dated 3. Oktober 2025, recognizes 30,000 units in sales and streaming equivalents in the United States. The track was released on 27. September 2024, via Mr. 305 Records.

Born Álvaro Lenier Mesa in Güines, Cuba, the singer-songwriter known as Lenier emigrated to Miami at age 15. He has since become a prominent figure in the Latin music scene, earning a mention at the 2022 Latin Grammy Awards in the "Best Tropical Song" category for his collaboration with Marc Anthony, "Mala." In 2020, Lenier signed with Pitbull's Mr. 305 Records, where he released the platinum-certified single "Como Te Pago."
