Tofa Releases Fatherhood-Themed Single 'Always On My Mind'

Daytona Beach-based artist Tofa will release his new single, “Always On My Mind,” on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025, via After Hours Records. The folk-pop and R&B track’s release is timed to coincide with National Daughters Day, reflecting its theme of fatherhood.

The song was written after Tofa’s brother asked him to compose a piece for his niece's graduation. It captures the emotions of a father watching his child grow up. An official music video for the single will also premiere on the release date.

“This song came from a very real place,” Tofa said in a press release. “My brother asked me to write something for his daughter, and I immediately saw it through a father's eyes. It's about that journey of holding on, letting go, and the quiet truth that no matter where she goes in life, she will always be on my mind.”

The track was produced by Ricardo Barclay and engineered by Robert McMichael. George Pjevach served as mix producer, and Reuben Cohen of Lurssen Mastering Studio mastered the single.

Tofa is a Samoan-American multi-instrumentalist who began his career performing internationally with his family's Polynesian production group. Now signed to After Hours Records, his music incorporates storytelling traditions from his Polynesian heritage.
