Chico, California-based artist Junifer released the new single “Thoughts For The Night” on Oct. 3, 2025. The track is a luminous meditation on family and belonging, blending alternative pop with shimmering electronic textures.

The song captures the quiet rituals of home life, inspired by late-night moments after children are asleep. “Many nights I lie awake thinking about how my kids and my partner bring joy and meaning into these walls,” Junifer said in a statement. “This song is my love letter to that continual realization each day.” Musically, the single layers synth pads and organic sounds with a tender vocal performance, building from quiet reflection to a radiant pulse.
Junifer, who identifies as an alternative folktronica artist, released the debut album “A Little Late” in March 2025. The nine-track, 39-minute album established a folk-inspired electronic palette. It has been followed by the singles “Together Apart,” “It’s Heavy It’s Hot,” and “We Break Us Down to Build Us Up.” With over 18,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, Junifer continues to build a following in the alternative pop and electronic folk scenes.
