Carrie Underwood's holiday track "Favorite Time Of Year" has been certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The certification, dated October 30, 2025, recognizes the Capitol Nashville single for reaching 500,000 units based on sales and streaming equivalents in the United States.
Released on September 24, 2021, "Favorite Time Of Year" is featured on Underwood's album "My Gift (Special Edition)." The song is one of three new tracks that were added to the expanded version of her original 2020 Christmas album, "My Gift," further establishing her presence in contemporary holiday music.
Underwood rose to prominence after winning the fourth season of American Idol in 2005.
