Brandon Lake Earns RIAA Platinum for "Hard Fought Hallelujah"

Brandon Lake's single "Hard Fought Hallelujah" has been certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), an achievement announced on October 7, 2025. The certification recognizes 1,000,000 units sold and streamed in the United States. The track was released by Provident Label Group in the Christian/Gospel genre.

Released on November 8, 2024, "Hard Fought Hallelujah" achieved significant commercial success upon its debut. The single entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 51 and secured the No. 1 position on the Digital Songs chart, propelled by 7 million U.S. streams and 13,000 sales in its first week. It went on to top the Hot Christian Songs chart for 20 consecutive weeks, making it one of the most successful Christian song debuts of 2024. Co-written by Lake, Steven Furtick, Benjamin Hastings, Rodrick Simmons, Jelly Roll, and Chris Brown, the song thematically explores worship through trials. Lake described it as being "about the battles we face, the grit throughout the fight for faith and the praise that comes after."

The certification marks another milestone for Lake, a Grammy and GMA Dove Award-winning artist from Charleston, South Carolina.
