Jon Pardi Earns RIAA 7x Platinum for "Head Over Boots"

Jon Pardi's breakthrough single, "Head Over Boots," has achieved a new milestone, earning a 7x Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The certification, dated November 20, 2025, recognizes 7,000,000 units in the United States. The popular track was released by Capitol Nashville and has remained one of the signature songs for the country artist.

Released on September 3, 2015, and sent to radio on September 14, "Head Over Boots" served as the lead single from Pardi's second studio album, California Sunrise. Co-written by Pardi and Luke Laird, the song's traditional shuffle and romantic theme resonated widely with audiences, becoming Pardi's first career No. 1 hit on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. It also achieved significant crossover success, peaking at No. 4 on the Hot Country Songs chart and No. 51 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, cementing its status as a major commercial success.

A native of Dixon, California, Jon Pardi has built a career on updating classic country sounds for a mainstream audience. After moving to Nashville in 2008, he signed with Capitol Records Nashville and released his debut album, Write You a Song, in 2014. It was the California Sunrise album, propelled by the success of "Head Over Boots" and the subsequent No. 1 single "Dirt on My Boots," that turned Pardi into a star.
