Five Finger Death Punch Earns RIAA Gold for "Inside Out"

The American heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch has earned a Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for their single "Inside Out." The certification, dated October 6, 2025, recognizes 500,000 certified units sold in the United States. Released on December 1, 2019, via Better Noise Music, "Inside Out" was the lead single from the band's eighth studio album, F8. The track achieved significant commercial success, topping the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart in February 2020.

Five Finger Death Punch, often abbreviated as 5FDP or FFDP, formed in Las Vegas in 2005 and has since become one of the most successful acts in modern heavy metal. The band, anchored by founding members vocalist Ivan Moody and rhythm guitarist Zoltan Bathory, has sold millions of records worldwide. Their debut album, The Way of the Fist (2007), sold over 500,000 copies, and subsequent releases like War Is the Answer (2009) and American Capitalist (2011) achieved Platinum status. The group holds a record for 11 consecutive No. 1 hits on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart and has amassed over 13 billion global streams throughout its career.

The success of "Inside Out" continued the band's long-standing presence on rock radio, where they have secured 16 No. 1 singles. The album F8 was released on February 28, 2020, and continued the band's streak of commercially successful projects, with seven of their nine studio albums being certified Gold or Platinum. Beyond their musical achievements, Five Finger Death Punch is known for its philanthropic work, particularly in support of veterans and first responders. This commitment earned them the prestigious Soldier Appreciation Award from the Association of the U.S. Army, an honor previously given only to Elvis Presley. In recognition of their contributions, the city of Las Vegas declared November 1 as "Five Finger Death Punch Day."
