I played it with just me and a guitar for the band and after playing it once everyone joined in and it immediately became clear the direction we were headed in. Philip had some amazing ideas. We thought about doing a lyric change in the second pre chorus and he had the entire band play the same section over and over again while I wrote as quickly as possible…and it really elevated the song.”*‍ Having recently performed at the Somerset House “Summer Session” and TRNSMT Festival, Nell still has a number of festivals and show appearances lined up, including a set at Newcastle’s Come Together Festival* *on June 4 th , Reading & Leeds Festival, and Rock N Roll Circus in Sheffield.
