Drake's single "Chicago Freestyle," featuring singer Giveon, has achieved a new milestone, earning a 5x Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The certification, dated October 24, 2025, signifies that the digital single has reached 5,000,000 equivalent units in the United States. The track was released under the Ovo Sound and Republic Records labels.

"Chicago Freestyle" was officially released on May 1, 2020, as a standout track from Drake's commercial mixtape, *Dark Lane Demo Tapes*. The R&B/Hip-Hop song is noted for its moody production and the prominent feature from Giveon, whose baritone vocals anchor the track's chorus. The song gained considerable traction online prior to its formal release, building anticipation for the project. Its structure notably interpolates Eminem's 2002 hit "Superman."
