Despite experiencing delays, "Vultures" is the first in a trilogy, with two more volumes expected to follow. This project serves as a follow-up to both artists' 2021 albums, marking their first joint venture as independent artists.

The promotion for "Vultures" included several listening events in Chicago and New York City on February 8 and 9, respectively.
